Congratulations! Tell our audience about your latest achievement. How did you win this month’s Outstanding Agent award for Dubai?
I am pleased to say that I closed my biggest single transaction this month, with the sale of a villa in Emirates Hills for AED 69 million. This makes it the most expensive villa sale of the year and is actually one of the top 10 most expensive villas ever sold in Dubai.
Tell our audience THREE things that set you apart from other agents. Why should they call YOU when looking for a property in Dubai?
I would say my height, being 6’4, certainly sets me apart but I am not sure this is why someone should call me. What I would say is that I am very data-driven, my background as a management consultant means that I focus on ensuring that I use data to get both buyers and sellers the best deal. Secondly, marketing. I invest a lot of time and energy in my brand to help attract clients and interest to properties. Finally, professionalism. I consider myself an advisor more than a broker and this approach helps to build trusted relationships.
What is the ONE piece of advice you’d give to agents who are new in the market or struggling to close deals?
Have a thick skin as real estate can be draining. We all lose more sales than we close. You have to stay positive and be persistent. If you keep consistent, then deals will start to drop.

This award is really the culmination of a lot of hard work and it is a genuine pleasure to be recognised again by the UAE’s leading property portal. I would definitely recommend others to enter, it is a great way to increase exposure in a crowded market.
