This led the Dubai government to focus more on developing more affordable residential communities &ndash; such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/area-insights\/dubai\/international-city\" target=\"_blank\">International City<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/area-insights\/dubai\/discovery-gardens\" target=\"_blank\">Discovery Gardens<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/area-insights\/dubai\/dubai-silicon-oasis\" target=\"_blank\">Dubai Silicon Oasis<\/a>, IMPZ &ndash; to maintain the real estate business, we compare the pros and cons of living in these areas.\n<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pros:<\/span>\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The price<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/money-clipart-03.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10265\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/money-clipart-03-355x350.png\" alt=\"money\" width=\"337\" height=\"329\"><\/a>\n\nNew residential communities are known for offering affordable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/rent\/dubai\/villas-for-rent.html\" target=\"_blank\">housing<\/a> to expatriates. The rent rates range from 36,000 AED to above depending on the area. This gives newcomers to Dubai to find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/rent\/dubai\/apartments-for-rent.html\" target=\"_blank\">affordable apartments<\/a> and houses, especially if they&rsquo;re relocating with their families.\n\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/rent\/dubai\/studio-apartments-for-rent.html\" target=\"_blank\">Studios for rent in Dubai<\/a>: starting from 36,000AED<\/strong>\n\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/rent\/dubai\/1-bedroom-apartments-for-rent.html\" target=\"_blank\">1 BHK for rent in Dubai<\/a>: starting from 48,000AED<\/strong>\n\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/en\/rent\/dubai\/2-bedroom-apartments-for-rent.html\" target=\"_blank\">2 BHK for rent in Dubai<\/a>: starting from 65,000AED<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The quiet<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10261\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/1293624052692914880no-honking.svg.hi_-350x350.png\" alt=\"1293624052692914880no honking.svg.hi\" width=\"327\" height=\"321\">\n\nMost of these residential communities are located on the outskirts of Dubai, and therefore are a great place for people looking to escape the noise and buzz of the city. In addition, most&nbsp;of these communities are focused on greenery, therefore they offer residents fresher air away from pollution.\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The traffic<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/notraffic-3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10257\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/notraffic-3.jpg\" alt=\"noTraffic-3\" width=\"302\" height=\"295\"><\/a>\n\nThe traffic is light. Since most of these residential areas don&rsquo;t have as many residents as other areas in the heart of Dubai, they enjoy relatively light traffic. However, this depends on the area you choose to live in and whether or not it has multiple entrances and exists.\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The pet comfort<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10258\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/pet-friendly-limo-1289-768-0001.png\" alt=\"Pet-Friendly-Limo-1289-768-0001\" width=\"298\" height=\"200\">\n\nUnless you&rsquo;re comfortable with walking your dog in crowded streets, and getting the poor animal scared and nervous, you would appreciate the serenity of these residential areas. The communities we mentioned are ideal for dog owners.\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The parking<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10259\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/images.jpg\" alt=\"images\" width=\"328\" height=\"267\">\n\nThis is due to two main reasons; the relatively low number of residents and the fact that many of the developing areas have sand parking.\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What did you say?<\/span><\/h3>\n<em>&ldquo;I prefer living away from the city. Depending on what kind of a lifestyle you prefer to lead, you might find the distance from the city&rsquo;s main landmarks rather limiting. Additionally, families living in these communities might find it challenging to find schools for their children.\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The lack of transport<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/553px-singapore_road_signs_-_restrictive_sign_-_no_buses.svg.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10266\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/553px-singapore_road_signs_-_restrictive_sign_-_no_buses.svg-350x350.png\" alt=\"public transport\" width=\"324\" height=\"327\"><\/a>\n\nMost of these residential communities are relatively far from metro stations (such as Silicon Oasis, International City and IMPZ). Some &ndash; like Silicon Oasis and Discovery Gardens &ndash; are fully developed communities with hundreds of services offered to residences. However, the likes of IMPZ, Dubailand, and Queue Point are still under development.\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The parking<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10260\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/1239945_10151881534440619_308218643_n.png\" alt=\"1239945_10151881534440619_308218643_n\" width=\"308\" height=\"297\">\n\nIt all depends on your perspective on the matter. If you&rsquo;re an optimist, you&rsquo;d see that developing areas offer you infinite options or parking. However, if you&rsquo;re a pessimist, you would get irritated with having to park in the middle of the desert.\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What did you say?<\/span><\/h3>\n<em>&ldquo;I&rsquo;d rather pay some extra money than to live in a remote area with limited access to various services. What if I can&rsquo;t find a hospital close by when I need to?
