One is to visit the EtihadWE customer happiness centre or apply online via the website or app. Let&rsquo;s go through both ways one by one:<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-apply-via-customer-happiness-centres\">Apply Via Customer Happiness Centres<\/h4><p>EtihadWE has dedicated customer happiness centres across the Northern Emirates to provide convenience to its customers. Here is how to easily disconnect the electricity or water connection and get a clearance certificate:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the nearest EtihadWE customer happiness centre.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Request disconnection form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the form and attach the required documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay the in-person service fee of <strong>AED 50<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The staff will review the metre to send the final payment invoice.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The customer will receive an SMS with the amount to be paid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the amount is settled, the EWE will disconnect the service. Along with this, the customer will be issued an EtihadWE clearance certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The certificate is issued within 24 hours to 3 working days. The customer must collect it within 15 working days from the date of application. This includes the EWE website and M-Social Android or Apple application. Here is how to apply online using the website:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to EtihadWE&rsquo;s official website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the top right corner, click on the &lsquo;Person Icon&rsquo;. It will lead to the customer login tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register on the website or log in using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyfinder.ae\/blog\/uae-pass\/\" target=\"_blank\">UAE pass<\/a>. Users can also log in using the registered username and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the services tab, in the e-services section, click on &lsquo;Clearance Certificate (moveout)&rsquo;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the EtihadWE account number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pop-up will show the due amount for the entered account number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on &lsquo;Proceed&rsquo;. This will redirect to the bill payment window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Again, click proceed and choose a card to pay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the card details and pay the amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After payment clearance, an SMS will be sent with the OTP verification code of 5 digits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the clearance certificate (moveout) and enter the account number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the 5-digit OTP and click proceed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once finished, an email and SMS will be sent as confirmation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All set to receive the clearance certificate from EWE within 1 to 3 working days on the registered email address.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-follow-up-on-the-clearance-certificate-application\">Follow Up on the Clearance Certificate Application<\/h3><p>After the request submission, a reference number is provided to the customer. By using it, a user can follow up on the application status.
