I believe I won the Outstanding Agent Award because I took a huge risk and decided to relocate my family in order to focus on my area of expertise, Dubai Hills Estate, and to be a true Community Expert (as listed on Property Finder) by having an insider’s perspective on the community. I’m thrilled to receive this award and I’m glad the risk I took has paid off with positive results.
I made a commitment to be a Community Expert and completed 12 sales transactions in Dubai Hills, besides two off-plan sales in Emaar Beachfront and one villa sale in The Meadows in a 30-day period. Moving to Dubai Hills was key to my approach to being a Community Expert in order to provide:
It was a hard decision initially as we all know moving is not so easy, especially with a family including my 20-month-old son. I asked myself and consulted my wife: ‘Is it worth moving our family to focus on the area?’ Given my track record from last month, I can say that I am happy to have taken this risk and done 12 transactions, of which 90 percent was completed in Dubai Hills Estate.
I could not have done this without taking the decision to move to my area of expertise (flexibility), the support of the company providing advertising support (generating leads), the platform of Property Finder as a Community Expert (exposure) and lastly, my hard work and determination, sacrificing family time and being available 24/7.

What is the ONE piece of advice you’d give to agents who are new in the market or are struggling to close deals?
My advice to new agents is to stay dedicated and focused. Despite the naysayers’ claims of the “market being down”, there are many opportunities out there for those who put in hard work. There will always be buyers and sellers despite the market sentiment. It’s your dedication to your job and a commitment to consistency that will bring results.
