The Opus is instantly recognizable for its striking design, representing a harmony of solid and void.
Unique cube: The building appears as a single cube but is actually composed of two separate towers connected by a four-story atrium at ground level and a massive, three-story asymmetrical sky bridge.
The void: The sculpted, free-form void at the building's core is the most prominent feature. During the day, the exterior's mirrored glass reflects the city, while at night, the void is illuminated by integrated LED lighting, making it appear to glow.
Façade: The curved, triple-glazed glass facade required advanced engineering to achieve its seamless, "melted ice" appearance.
Facilities and amenities
The Opus is a mixed-use development that offers residential, commercial, and hospitality components.
ME Dubai hotel: It houses the ME Dubai Hotel, the only hotel in the world where Zaha Hadid designed both the exterior and interior.
Luxurious residences: Apartments and penthouses within the tower are also furnished with fittings and fixtures selected by Hadid herself.
Commercial space: The building includes Grade-A commercial office space.
