What Documents Are Required for SEWA Activation?

  2. Tenancy Contract if you’re renting
  3. Ownership certificate for owners
  4. Required application form
  5. Copy of trade licence of electrical contractor (SEWA-approved) and original professional licence
  6. Affection plan

  8. License copy (companies).

  1. Building permission
  2. Gas pipe drawings (SEWA-approved)
  3. Copy of trade licence of gas contractor
  4. Letter from gas contractor
  5. Certificate of building completion if asked for (payment of due charges).

How Can You Register for an Online SEWA Account?

You can log on to SEWA’s online website to register for an account and activate your full services. Please make sure that your information is updated in the SEWA billing system before registering for an online account.

This is done by sending a copy of your Emirates ID on both sides along with a copy of your tenancy contract/trade license, mentioning your Account ID and mobile number, to this e-mail address: regsupport@sewa.gov.ae.

Once updated, you can register for an online account. Here’s a detailed guide to what you need to do:

  1. Head to the official website
  2. Choose E-Services
  3. Choose Online SEWA Account
  4. Choose Register for SEWA Online Account
  5. Choose Register Now.

  1. Emirates ID type and number
  2. Name and detailed address of the residence
  3. Username and desired password.
