This verification process involves the local police in Bangladesh confirming the applicant’s details and may take a few weeks to complete. It is necessary for security validation checks as it helps confirm the authenticity of the applicant’s information.

Delivery of a Regular Passport

The renewed passport is expected to be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of enrolment. However, it is for such cases when no police verification is required and no data mismatch exists.

Delivery of Urgent Passport

The passport is expected to be delivered within 15 days if no police verification is required and there is no data mismatch between MRP/EPP and NID/BRC.
