Al Barsha is a safe and quiet area filled with large, standalone villas and some new apartment blocks which are popular with Media City and Internet City workers. Al Barsha is now a very established residential development in Dubai. It is located in West Dubai between Sheikh Zayed Road and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road. It has several sub communities including Al Barsha I, Al Barsha II, Al Barsha III and the very new Al Barsha South compounds. 
Al Barsha is a collection of sub-communties and is one of the newer residential developments located in west Dubai, south of Al Sufouh. Al Barsha is bounded by Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road. The community is close to Dubai Internet City, Dubai Marina and the Palm Jumeirah. Landmarks include Mall of the Emirates, Dubai American Academy and American School of Dubai.

Al Barsha has large villa communities and mid-rise apartment towers that are popular with the locals as well as expats. Al Barsha Pond Park One of Dubai’s newest parks and part of Dubai Pond Parks project, Al Barsha Pond Park is extremely popular with the residents, especially with its giant ponds that have a walking and running tracks round them- perfect for exercising. The park is also suitable for cycling enthusiasts and offers a number of playgrounds for kids, tennis courts, football pitches and outdoors fitness machines.
