Q&A with Shanze
Why do you deserve to be a Propertyfinder Outstanding Agent?
I love what I do very much, I was actually born and raised here in Dubai. No one really has a plan, I didn’t dream of working in property when I was a little girl, I just wanted to be happy and find something I really love. I joined Espace in 2011 and haven’t looked back since, I am one of the most successful agents in the office, always in early ready to work and I never miss an appointment. I believe my ethics stem from my success. My days and my nights are consumed with my job, I am certainly one of these people who eats, breathes, lives their job and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Espace is a very textbook company and this is why I enjoy working for such a dynamic, structured company where customer satisfaction is paramount. To win in this game you really have to love what you do, everything about real estate is me and it helps I work alongside such amazing people at Espace. I call them family.
What is one thing you do as a broker that differentiates you from other brokers?
Plain and simple, honestly. I can only sell if I believe in it, I have to be totally honest with my clients.
Is the current market easier or more difficult from when you first started?
It was easier before, now there is a lot of competition.

How long have you been in Dubai?
39 years, my family is originally from Iran and Pakistan. I was born and raised in Dubai, this is my home.
What do you think contributed to the success on this deal?
Hard work, you have to always be on top of your game, don’t think about whether or not it will be a sale or not just keep going go, keep working hard and you’ll see positive things start to happen. I love my job and you have to love what you do to be successful.
What would you do if money were no object?
Travel the world, live by the beach, make as many memories as possible
If you could ask UAE’s Ministry of State for Happiness for one thing, what would you request?
The right to be offered full citizenship.
