The art installation Rain Room by Random International, which is having its Middle East debut, is proudly presented by the Sharjah Art Foundation. Visitors can have a genuinely immersive and wonderful experience at this mesmerizing masterpiece, which is permanently located in Al Majarrah, Sharjah. Part of the Sharjah Art Foundation Collection, Rain Room opened its doors in May 2018. It is the first in a planned sequence of permanent venues built by artists. Welcome to the art exhibit that makes it rain in Sharjah with beauty! The Sharjah Rain Room is hosted by the renowned Sharjah Art Foundation. It offers an exclusive opportunity to witness a spectacular blend of art and technology. Purchase your tickets to step into a simulated rainfall where you remain dry as you move through the room. This will be sure to create a surreal and unforgettable encounter with the elements.

2,500 liters of self-cleaning recycled water are used in this site-specific installation. And it is managed by a network of 3D tracking cameras. The project investigates the ways in which intangible technologies are being used to manage humankind’s relationships with nature and one another.

Random International is a London and Berlin-based art collective that was founded in 2005. Through emotionally charged but physically demanding encounters. Their work – which encompasses sculpture, performance, and large-scale architectural installations. Explores the human condition in a world that is becoming increasingly mechanized.
