The Tower – soon to be the tallest building in Dubai

The chairman of Emaar, Mohammad Al Abbar has announced that the Dhs3.65 billion structure, also known as The Tower, will be 100 metres taller than the Burj Khalifa, which currently stands at a majestic 828 metres.

Although the project has been kept under wrap, last month, images and videos of The Tower stirred up on social media as we saw a first glimpse of the iconic monument.

The Pinnacle Room, which will be The Towers viewing deck, will allow visitors to have a 360-degree view of Dubai, while the VIP observation deck will recreate the ‘Hanging Gardens Of Babylon’, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The impressive Tower will have balconies which extend and rotate around its amazing structure, and with its illuminate core, The Tower will be visible for miles around.

The overall Dubai Creek Harbour project will be twice the size of Downtown Dubai. The development will include nine districts, a marina and harbour, 22 hotels, and over 6.79 million square metres of residential and retail space.

The area will be linked to the city via the Creek Bridge.
