  • Then Select “New Customer Services Activation”

Approval takes one day, whereas your electricity and water services will be activated within 48 hours. The activation cost differs for different customers. Moreover, the FEWA customers must pay a security deposit upfront.

  • Valid Emirates ID card copy
  • Family book (Khulasat Al Qaid) copy
  • Title Deed (if available)
  • Valid site plan

  • Completion certificate (before service connection)
  • Stamped Load Card by the electrical contractor (approved by EtihadWE)
  • Etihad WE approved Land clearance certificate
  • Etihad WE technical drawings (for electricity and water)
  • Accreditation licence copy of the engineering consultant and electrical contractor

  • Emirates ID or Passport
  • Municipality-approved tenancy contract

For Expatriates

  • Valid UAE ID card/Passport copy (for non-residents in UAE)

How to Disconnect FEWA Account and Services 

There are two ways to disconnect your FEWA account and service:

Online Method to Disconnect FEWA   

If you choose to discontinue FEWA services due to relocation, you need to disconnect your account. The online process is simple and has been elaborated here.

  • Log in to your account on the FEWA website
  • Select the Services option
  • Choose E-Services
  • Then click on “Customer”
  • You will find a Clearance Certificate tab for moving out. Apply for it
  • Expect your water and electricity to be disconnected within one day

After clearing the due bills, if any, the certificate will be issued for you within three days. The Clearance Certificate is issued online and does not cost anything.

Offline Method to Disconnect  

If you prefer an alternative for disconnecting EWE services, this option is for you. Simply visit the nearest FEWA service centre with your Emirates ID, and the process will be handled for you. This option will cost an amount of AED 50.
