Damac Heights

I am currently renting a 1 bedroom flat in the Fendi part. The quality of the build is TERRIBLE. Since moving in 3 months ago I have had workers come around every week for; parts falling from the wall, repairing the paintwork in the bathroom, water pressure and for a persistent sewage smell in my apartment. It smells so bad for the last 6 weeks and my neighbors above and below have complained. One is thinking of taking legal action at RERA as we seem to be fobbed off with some excuse of "we are fixing it" and then nothing changes. There is also a garbage smell in the parking lot and sometimes around my front door. Another neighbor has issues with a persistent noise - in fact all the residents I meet there have some sort of an issue with their flat. The staff are helpful in organizing the workers to come but it really is a hassle. Its a beautiful building on the outside but poorly constructed which is a shame.

We moved in to our apartment and everything was fine.. until 5 days later! We have blocked toilets, dampness, water constantly over our kitchen floor, lighting not working properly, a water leak and our wooden floor lifting up from the floor! It took us 4 days to even get in contact with the right person before we could arrange someone to come and look at the issues. No-one in the building gives the right information or cares about helping. We went on a 2 week vacation and the problems are still outstanding, more have arised and are getting worse! I have lived in many places in Dubai and have never experienced so many problems and such disgraceful customer service. I will never rent or buy anywhere that is owned by Damac again.

The Damac Heights is conveniently located between the Marriot hotel and Cayan Tower. Surprisingly we did not have any problems during snagging procedure. Quality is outstanding! Normally in other project we had to fix many things after the snagging. The most professional independent agents specialized in the project are from Seven Century Real Estate.
