Play zones and what’s inside

There are three play zones, and each has its own height rules. Staff measure children on arrival and direct them to the right zone.
Wildwood Treetops
Wildwood Treetops is a two-level free play area made for climbing, sliding and crawling. It has 10 bridges, 15 ramps, 15 crawl tubes and 3 roller and spin doors to work through.
- 90 cm to 110 cm: Must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
- 110 cm and above: Can play independently
Little Acorns
Little Acorns is the space for younger children. It has low-height climbing, soft play modules, controlled slides and sensory activities, plus an inflatable modular play area called Move n’ Groove.
- 75 cm to 110 cm only: Must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
River Play
River Play is a water play zone where kids experiment and learn through play. It has huge buckets, a raining cloud, a water wheel, air tubes, a magnetic water wall and dams.
- 75 cm to 110 cm: Must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
- 110 cm and above: Can play independently
Workshops for kids
The workshops are what set Little Explorers apart from a standard Mirdif City Center play area. Each one is a guided session where children make or perform something. Most sessions are for children only. Parents join only in sessions labelled “Parent & Child”.
| Workshop | What kids do | Ages | Duration | Price per child |
| Mama Lu | Cooking and baking, learning kitchen skills | 5 to 12 | 60 minutes | From AED 119 |
| StuDIYO Lab | Designing, building and painting woodwork projects | 5 to 12 | 60 to 120 minutes | From AED 119 |
| Picasso Art Workshop | Guided painting to explore colour and self-expression | 3+ | 60 minutes | From AED 119 |
| Confidence Lab | Acting and storytelling, ending with a live performance | 4 to 12 | 60 minutes | From AED 119 |
| Pottery Painting | Choosing and painting a pottery piece | 2+ | Flexible | From AED 59 |
Pottery painting is next to the café. Once your child has painted a piece, the team fires it and lets you know when it’s ready to collect.
Height and supervision rules
Height decides which zones a child can use and whether an adult needs to be with them.
| Child’s height | What applies |
| Under 75 cm | No access to the play areas |
| 75 cm to 110 cm | Little Acorns and River Play, with an adult (18+) |
| 90 cm to 110 cm | Wildwood Treetops, with an adult (18+) |
| 110 cm and above | Independent play in Wildwood Treetops and River Play |
Nannies and other carers can be given their own QR code, so they can supervise without a parent there.
What to bring
