How prayer times in Ajman change through October

October is when evenings in Ajman start to draw in noticeably. Over the month:

  • Maghrib moves 27 minutes earlier, from 6:08 pm to 5:41 pm.
  • Isha moves 25 minutes earlier, dropping below 7 pm from 26 October.
  • Asr moves 18 minutes earlier, from 3:32 pm to 3:14 pm.
  • Fajr moves 14 minutes later, from 4:53 am to 5:07 am.
  • Dhuhr barely changes, shifting just six minutes from 12:10 pm to 12:04 pm.

In practice, that means the evening prayers come round faster each week than the morning ones move back, which is worth keeping in mind if you plan errands or school pick-ups around Maghrib.

Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayer times in Ajman

prayer time

Fajr prayer time in Ajman

Fajr starts between 4:53 am and 5:07 am this month. Sunrise (shurooq) follows about an hour and a quarter later, between 6:07 am and 6:22 am, and marks the end of Fajr time. Fajr is two rak’ahs.

Dhuhr prayer time in Ajman

Dhuhr falls between 12:04 pm and 12:10 pm throughout October. It’s four rak’ahs. On Fridays, men who attend the mosque pray Juma in place of Dhuhr (see the Juma section below).

Asr time in Ajman

Asr runs from 3:32 pm at the start of the month to 3:14 pm by 31 October. Like Dhuhr, it’s four rak’ahs.

Maghrib prayer in Ajman

Maghrib is the prayer that shifts most this month, from 6:08 pm on 1 October to 5:41 pm on 31 October. It’s three rak’ahs. Mosques also start Maghrib quickly: on 12 October, Awqaf’s iqama time was just eight minutes after the adhan, compared with 20 minutes for Dhuhr, Asr and Isha.

Isha prayer in Ajman

Isha begins between 7:21 pm and 6:56 pm and is four rak’ahs. From 26 October, the Isha adhan falls before 7 pm.

Juma prayer time in Ajman

Friday prayers in Ajman start at 12:45 pm, the same time as every other mosque in the UAE. Awqaf moved the Friday sermon and prayer to this unified time from the first Friday of 2026, replacing Ajman’s previous 1:15 pm sermon time.

The remaining Fridays this month are 16, 23 and 30 October. Awqaf has encouraged worshippers to arrive early so they don’t miss the sermon, and mosque car parks around Ajman City tend to fill up well before 12:45 pm.

Eid prayer time in Ajman

Eid prayers are held in the morning after sunrise, in mosques and open-air prayer grounds (musallas) across Ajman. Awqaf announces the exact Eid prayer timing for each emirate close to Eid, once the date is confirmed.

The next Eid is Eid Al Fitr 2027, at the end of Ramadan. We’ll add the official Ajman Eid prayer timing here as soon as Awqaf publishes it. In the meantime, you can see how timings were set for the last Eid in our guide to Eid prayer time in Dubai.

Prayer times in Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai compared

UAE prayer times vary by only a few minutes between neighbouring emirates, but the differences add up if you live in one emirate and work in another. Here’s how Awqaf’s timings compared on 12 October 2026:
