Propertyfinder.ae will host its 2nd annual Dubai Brokerage Awards at the penthouse of the Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah on December 15. A lavish black tie event that will celebrate and honor brokerages that have displayed professionalism, integrity and hard work throughout the year. propertyfinder’s Dubai Brokerage Awards are one of the things that distinguish the company as a leading force in the local real estate industry.
The aim of the awards
Since its inception in 2007, a core ongoing objective of propertyfinder.ae has been to increase transparency in the UAE real estate sector and to continuously promote better real estate standards. This has been a gradual and ongoing evolution. In the early days they offered brokers who provided images of the property listings better ranking and more exposure on the site, something not common back in 2007. In 2013 an Online Quality Control team started mystery shopping every client to check availability of their advertised properties. In 2015 they launched Verified Listings; property listings that have had full authenticity documentation checked and approved by in house dedicated team to determine the accuracy of the property details and the authority of the broker to market the property. Since its launch, the service has been widely praised by both brokers and end-users, who are presented with accurate and verified information from trusted brokers.
Lukman Hajje, CCO at propertyfinder group, explained that the awards are designed to recognize the most professional operators in the market and to encourage better real estate practice. “The Dubai Brokerage Awards are token of our appreciation and a celebration of the best brokerages in Dubai.. It’s also a recognition of those who promote better transparency and raise the bar across the industry. The companies who have been nominated have invested heavily into staff training and support; into the listing and presentation of their stock and into their client service levels. Particular emphasis has been given to those who insist upon proper documentation from their vendors, which we feel is an important step in the evolution of the Dubai real estate market. These are the most successful brokers in town and these are the ones who our consumers love to deal with,” he said.
The awards aim to celebrate brokerage firms that have displayed grit and dedication to delivering high-quality listings to consumers.
The process of selection
The awards are divided into five main categories:

- Prestige Magazine‘s Most Prestigious Listings 2015
Brokerage services will go through a thorough selection process to award those who have proven to be worthy. Nominees for both Best Brokerage Service and Best Newcomer would fill out a carefully-constructed survey, and an auditing process would follow in which a number of industry professionals from propertyfinder visit the nominated companies to ensure that all the information provided is correct. This award aims to encourage more companies to adhere to the industry’s – as well as propertyfinder.ae’s – standards of practice. By providing information on the agents’ recruitment and training practices; marketing and listing processes; and customer satisfaction surveys, we can confidently honor the companies that comply with our vision of an honest property market dedicated to serving the consumer’s best interests.
The Most Popular Brokerage category will recognize the top ten brokerages who have received most consumer enquiries throughout 2015. As the names suggest The Best Marketing Campaign and the Prestige Magazine Most Prestigious Listings recognize and celebrate outstanding marketing efforts across online and offline disciplines.
