Motor City is a slightly quirky but pleasant community with plenty of greenery (not on the main road of course) and offers apartments with spacious terraces and balconies. With little through traffic, a number of play areas and community pools, it’s a good option for families.

2. Green
It’s not very often that you can say that an area in Dubai is “so green”, Motor City is truly full of lush playgrounds and walking paths.
3. Fun
Obviously, there are plenty of motorsports options including racing and go-karting tracks. The main strip features shops, salons and fast-food eateries that are usually buzzing with activity. Dubailand is nearby and there is also the American School for youngsters. Otherwise this is a fairly quiet laid back area. The Autodrome is a great facility for cycling enthusiasts and attached to it is The Cycle Bistro offering those health conscious among us, a hearty alternative.
4. Fully developed
Replete with multiple groceries, laundry service providers, salons, spas, kids entertainment, education and training, schools and nurseries, as well as retail and dining amenities, this “city within a city”, negates the need to travel outside the community for everyday or special requirements. And with the Dubai Autodrome and Kartodrome right next door, and Tennis and Cricket Sports academies a stone’s throw away, there is never a dearth of thrilling, fun, sporty and adventurous activities around.
5. Quiet
You can actually hear crickets chirping and the cool breeze flowing through the trees. There is barely any traffic, and you can take regular walks in comfort.
6. Accessible
No, Motor City is not in the middle of nowhere because it’s actually located right off Sheikh Zayed Road and it takes less time to get to Dubai Marina from Motor City than from Downtown Dubai. Granted, it’s hardly central, but it’s close enough, and you get to enjoy things like clean air and greenery along with spacious affordable housing!
