2. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is not only the largest mosque in the UAE, but it is also one of the most impressive buildings in Abu Dhabi. The architecture of the mosque is breathtaking inside and out, making it one of the most iconic places to visit in Abu Dhabi in winter.

The protected area of Al Wathba Fossil Dunes, 45 kilometres east of Abu Dhabi, has one of the highest concentrations of fossil dunes in the UAE, with more than 1,700 dunes scattered over 7 square kilometres.
This place is ideal for capturing beautiful images, especially when the sun sets and the light shines on the fossil dunes. You can explore the reserve’s natural wonders by walking along the well-lit trails lined with benches and shade for your comfort.

4. The Founder’s Memorial
The Founder’s Memorial is a national monument honouring the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s founding father, and celebrating his life and legacy.
