When I arrived in Dubai, almost exactly 10 years ago, I spent my first few nights in The Greens which, at the time, were a group of isolated buildings in the desert and were the first completed “Freehold” apartments in Dubai. The Marina had been dredged and the first six towers were just beginning to rise out of the desert but there was no Mall of the Emirates, no Palm Jumeirah, and the idea of Downtown Dubai, the Burj Khalifa and areas such as Business Bay had not even been conceived. For the last decade I have been in the privileged position of watching Dubai grow around me whilst working for some of the most prominent property companies in the UAE. I have been through the incredible highs, some pretty significant lows and learnt a multitude of important lessons along the way, all experiences which have proved crucial to meeting Daniel and Simon and developing the idea of Ascot & Co Real Estate.
