Sobha Creek Vistas Grande

Just 1.5 years after handover my apartment has major cracks across the walls and ceilings which are structural in nature. Sobha property management wants to hear nothing about it when raised, pointing to the fact that the Defect Liability Period is for 1 year hence anything that appears after that should be paid for by the owner irrespective of how structural it appears. I raised some of the points during the Defect Liability Period and they were temporarily rectified but have now reappeared in a more severe way a few months later and even such Sobha declines to attend to. 

The above legitimate complaints raised with Sobha maintenance have been met with stonewalling and disappearance into the call centre system for months with no solution or will to rectify.

There are clearly significant potential post Defect Liability Period repairs which should be sitting with the developer that property owners will need to incur as early as one year after handover. This should be taken into account when purchasing a property in this building.
