What is the Abu Dhabi T10?

The Abu Dhabi T10 is a professional franchise competition played in cricket’s fastest format: 10 overs per side. This season has six triple-header days and seven double-header days, so most match days have two or three games.
The competition began in 2017, and Abu Dhabi has hosted seven editions of the T10 since 2019. In 2026, Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH) took majority ownership and commercial control of the tournament, with support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Emirates Cricket Board. The organisers describe the 2026 edition as a relaunch, with five new franchise ownership groups joining the defending champions.

How the Abu Dhabi T10 league works
The Abu Dhabi T10 league follows a double round-robin, which means each team plays every other team twice. That gives each side ten league matches and 30 league matches in total.
After the league stage, the play-offs work like this:
- 1st place: Goes straight to the final.
- 2nd and 3rd place: Meet in the qualifier on 20 November at 4:30pm GST.
- Qualifier winner: Faces the table-toppers in the final at 6:45pm GST the same evening.
Only three teams make it to the last day, and the organisers say qualification could come down to fine margins, including net run rate. All six teams play on 19 November, the final day of the league stage.
