What attracts people to the Springs?
It’s a family oriented neighborhood with play areas, quaint walkways, and beautiful landscaping giving you the opportunity to walk your pet or take the kids out to play in pedestrian-friendly spaces. The Springs is also close to everything – coffee shops, supermarkets, petrol stations, barbecue areas, pools, and parks – it really is a self-sustained area. It also offers easy access to amenities, schools, and hospitals. Access from and to the city is also very easy. If you work in Media City, for example, the location is perfect. The area also takes the title of “international” as by living there you get to interact with people of different nationalities.
There’s also plenty entertainment options to keep the family busy and lots of places to unwind at during the weekend. The Montgomery Golf and Lakes Club offer a nice escape from the daily grind and a leisurely stroll around the lake is great for a whiz of fresh air.
Do the Springs offer value for money given the asking rents in the community?
Rents are lower than those in Umm Suqueim, for example, given the villa size and facilities you can enjoy in the area. Occupying a 3-bedroom Type 1M villa in Springs 10 usually also comes with a maid’s room, a study downstairs that you could possibly use as a playroom and a private garden that’s great for barbecues and outdoor dining in the winter months. For those with tighter budgets, there are smaller villas available that are much more gentle on the pocket.
What would the residents like to see more of in the area?
We could do with a few corner shops as the main convenience store is a drive away. More restaurants closer to the living areas will also add to the community’s value and the overall quality of life, as at the moment unless you live near the Montgomery, there are no dining places within walking distance.
Any advice for those looking to rent here?
If you’d like a nice big garden, look out for the end units. Although living near the lake is great, you may need to watch out for bugs. It’s good to keep this in mind if you’re particular about having a lake view.

The Springs offer a range of 2 to 5 bedroom villas that come in different types, namely, 1E and 1M, 2E and 2M, 3E and 3M and 4E and 4M; the “E” and the “M” stand for End and Middle units, respectively. Unit sizes range, starting from 1,772 to 3,030 sq. ft.
