The apartment itself just works from the moment you open the door. That open plan living area is the first thing you notice. It is honestly huge. You can move from the kitchen through the dining space right out to the lounge and then to the balcony without even thinking about it. The kitchen does not feel like a showroom either. I actually pulled open the cupboards to check and yes there is real storage space. You have all your appliances built in and a nice wide worktop so you can actually cook something decent, not just heat stuff up from the shop around the corner. Even if you are more of a takeaway fan, you will still love how it all comes together. You just slide into a routine here.

Both bedrooms feel totally private which is not what you always get in Dubai apartments. There is no cramped feeling at all. The master bedroom is what you would hope for in a Palm Jumeirah apartment with the big windows and soft light in the morning, but it is not flashy or over the top. It just feels calm. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a modern clean look and nothing extra you do not need. I stood inside for a bit and closed the door and honestly it is so quiet it feels like you are somewhere much further away from the buzz of the city.

Then there is the balcony if you enjoy having a spot to just watch the sea or the city skyline. I spent a while at sunset just watching the lights of Dubai start to twinkle as the sky grew softer. Sometimes you reach for your phone to take a photo but you end up just staying in the moment instead. The views here really are something special.
