Q&A with Hitesh Kumar
Hitesh moved to Dubai more than a decade ago, so he’s no stranger to the Dubai real estate world. He moved from India and shortly after met the love of his life, his now wife Kelly. Since then, he has continued to move forward in his career, keeping honesty and integrity at the core of his work. Hitesh keeps his sights aimed high, with hopes of one day owning his own successful real estate company.
What do you think contributed to your success?
The key element in securing deals is working extremely close with both my client and the developer agent. I attribute my success to maintaining these relationships, going the extra mile and putting in additional hours whenever necessary.
What is one thing you do as a broker that differentiates you from other brokers?
I am fortunate to come from a multicultural background. I speak three languages and as Dubai has many expats, I can really use this to my advantage. I provide a professional, tailored service by interacting closely with local and foreign investors. In addition to this I always maintain a strong work ethic, listen to my clients, and provide them with the best option that suits their specific needs, ensuring a successful growth strategy for their future investments.
What do you think makes a good agent in the UAE market?
I believe the below is what makes a good agent and something all agents should aspire to:
- Always ensure you are available to meet any client, even if it is a weekend or evening. Being available shows your commitment and dedication towards your profession
- Focus on quality over quantity
- Always listen to your clients, there’s a reason why they say ‘the customer is always right!’
