Things to Do at Umm Al Quwain Zoo

The Umm Al Quwain Zoo is fun for adults and children. Here’s a list of everything you can do at the zoon for an unforgettable day: 

  • You can watch lions from a very short distance
  • And if you’re fascinated with snakes, you can hold one and let it crawl around your body. Alternatively, you can pose with it for an instagrammable picture, but make sure to visit on weekends as snakes are only exhibited on weekends
  • Play around with other reptiles, like iguanas
  • You get to play with an orangutan, a fun animal to be around. The orangutan in Umm Al Quwain Zoo is called Habooba. She is fun and playful. She loves playing with visitors and going on walks around the park with them
  • You can enjoy a horse or camel ride
