Properties for rent in Sky Tower

Sky Tower is one of the taller residential buildings in Shams Abu Dhabi, the master-planned district on Al Reem Island. It's a high-rise with water and mangrove views on most upper floors, and the building sits within walking distance of Reem Central Park and the island's newer retail strips.

The look is glass-fronted and modern, and the feel inside is calm rather than showy. Rentals here are almost entirely apartments, from one-bedroom layouts around 800 sq ft up to three-bedroom units with a maid's room stretching past 1,900 sq ft. Some come furnished, some vacant, and higher floors with sea or mangrove views sit at the top end of the range.

It's mid- to upper-market for Reem, not entry-level. The resident mix leans heavily toward working professionals and couples, with a smaller share of families and students. People choose it for the views, the building amenities, and the short walk to the park and waterfront.

If you want quiet evenings with a skyline outside your window, it fits. On connectivity, Al Reem sits just off Abu Dhabi's main island and links through a few bridges. That means quick access to the Corniche and downtown on a good day and slower crawls at the morning and evening peaks. Plan your commute around the bridge times, and it works well.

Sky Tower sits on Al Reem Island's Shams waterfront, and the rental stock here is all apartments. You'll find one-bedroom units starting around 800 sq ft, two-beds in the 1,300 to 1,400 sq ft range, and three-bedroom layouts with a maid's room stretching past 1,900 sq ft.

Higher floors with sea or mangrove views rent for more than mid-level units facing the interior. Furnished apartments and those with a study or maid's room also sit at the top of the range. Layout, floor level, view, and whether the unit comes furnished drive most of the pricing gaps between listings.

If you want a Reem address without stretching the budget, look at towers like Julphar Residence and Sigma Towers on the island's western side. Julphar sits near the marina promenade and keeps entry pricing reasonable, with sale prices from around AED 840K giving you a sense of the tier.

Sigma Towers starts even lower, from about AED 875K. Rents in these buildings tend to track a similar gap below Shams, so you'll pay less for a comparable one-bed than in Sky Tower itself.

Sky Tower sits at the higher end of Shams Abu Dhabi, with three-bedroom sale prices reaching AED 4.1M and mangrove or sea-view units commanding the strongest rents in the building. Marina Bay is the other name to know here, with prices running up to AED 3.2M for larger layouts on the waterfront.

Meera 1 also pushes into premium territory, up to around AED 3.4M. Expect high-floor views, direct promenade access, and finishes that justify the step up from mid-market Reem stock.

For most of you, the sweet spot on Reem is the cluster around Shams Abu Dhabi, and Sky Tower is one of the most searched addresses in it. It's an easy walk to Reem Central Park, close to Reem Mall, and the bridges put you into the city in roughly a ten-minute drive.

MEERA Shams is another sought-after pick, with prices from around AED 1M for smaller units. Marina Bay rounds out the shortlist, offering waterfront living with strong tenant demand year-round.
