Jumeirah Lake Towers is a great family friendly and vibrant area. I have been living in JLT Cluster X for about an year now and I completely love this area. The area is well connected to both Sheikh Zayed Road as well as metro, alongwith a lot of shopping marts for groceries and restaurants featuring different kinds of cuisines. The area also has a central park for kids and families as well as a huge walking/running track surrounding two artificial lakes. It offers the best of both worlds in my opinion - the coziness and solitude of a quiet family friendly area plus the comfort and convenience of living in one of the most vibrant residential areas of Dubai. However, since some of the towers are quite old, the building/apartment quality can be a hit or miss depending upon how the owner has maintained it. The common parking arrangement is not everyone's cup of tea as well. Apart from this, JLT is one of the best residential areas in Dubai.

I’ve been living in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers) for about 11 months now, and it’s honestly one of the most balanced communities in Dubai. What I enjoy the most is the atmosphere in the evenings — the lakeside walkways come alive with people running, families going for walks, and kids playing around the parks. It gives the area a really lively and safe neighborhood feel, which is sometimes hard to find in bigger cities. The running track around the lakes is great if you like evening runs or casual walks after work. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and small grocery stores in every cluster, so daily life is very convenient. You also have easy access to the Dubai Metro, which makes commuting much easier compared to many other areas in Dubai. Another thing I appreciate is the mix of people living here — young professionals, couples, and families — which gives JLT a nice community vibe rather than feeling overly touristy. Overall, if you’re looking for a place in Dubai that combines convenience, a good social atmosphere, and nice outdoor spaces, JLT is definitely a great option to live in

This is the best dog-friendly communities in Dubai. We love taking a stroll with our dogs in the evening. The walking path around the lake is pedestrian and dog friendly. For your furry friend's needs, it has not just one but TWO dog parks! The older one is located in Cluster H. The newer one is in Cluster V. This place is perfect for children too with a large number of playgrounds scattered across the area. For sports enthusiasts, it has a skate park, basketball courts and football fields.

I often visit friends and go to the gym here, so it's like a second home to me. JLT is extremely well connected. You can walk, cycle or use the metro to get to your destination. I'm also a big fan of the lakes and the strong community vibe created by people regularly walking around them. There are restaurants from all over the globe, which makes it great for foodies. It's also unique in that it has residential and commercial buildings, along with several entertainment options, so you can live, work and play in one place. My only issues with JLT are that sometimes it's easy to get lost, as you sometimes have to walk through parking lots to reach places, and clusters can be hard to find.

Rented a studio in Cluster O,O2 residence..the building is good, flats are on an average bigger than the one in other buildings in JLT, maintenance is good, AC charges is slightly higher (approx 150 -200 aed )than other buildings since it's run by The One..seperate gym for men and women ..

Great maintenance and security team. Pool is nice, but the gym needs an upgrade. The guest parking is tough at times, especially on Fridays.

We have lived here for 4 years now and love this building. There were challenges in the past with the elevators but since the new ones were installed over a year ago no issues. The two bedrooms are extremely spacious and with great open views. A big plus is the entrance hall before accessing the living/kitchen areas, a personal pet peeve of mine in most Dubai apartments!

The building has a great location, near the metro, next to playground, next to good restaurants etc. The building has a great pool, children play area, barbeque area and indoor games area as well

I lived in three different towers in JLT, this classifies as 2nd, the facilities are good with a large sundeck, on the first floor, and a good sized pool, two gyms, a BBQ area (against a nominal fee) I would agree that Elevators are not the best, the program that manages them is simply stupid and they need definitely re-programing Chiller has a consumption even if it is off the whole month beside the capacity and a fee of 50 AED is fixed for the manager Despite these shortcomings I was happy to renew my rent for a second year

I have lived in JLT in 4 different buildings, the lifts i have experienced are the worst in this block of JLT (JLT has 2 blocks). Building construction quality is poor. You can hear people next door. Even if a pin drops in the apartment above you will hear it. The balcony doors very poor, sound insulation is not there at all, extremely noisy at night. The AC is very noisy. MOST IMPORTANT CHILLER IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE IN DUBAI FOR A 2BED EVEN WHEN IT IS OFF 600 AED PER MONTH. Do check all the details before signing any tenancy contract here. Building Management and staff not very friendly. Building is children friendly close to the park.
