About me
Hello,
My name is Alice, I moved to Abu Dhabi in October 2025 from Scotland, UK. I used to work as a Radiographer in the NHS, but decided to embrace the opportunity change careers with the move to a new country.
My career in the NHS taught me so many skills in working with people, and developing empathy. I worked with cancer patients and often saw them for up to 6 weeks of radiotherapy treatment, where I used high energy x-rays to target their tumours and kill the cancer cells. As you would expect, side effects of this treatment can be quite difficult for people to manage. I had to build rapport and get to know each individual to tailor my care to their needs. This job required the ability to read people indirectly or non-verbally. I think these skills will translate well into the world of real estate, to get to know clients and provide a person-centred experience.
