About me
Filippo Tavernaro is a Senior Global Property Consultant of the Client Rep. Division of Dubai Sotheby’s International Realty. Born and raised in Italy, he prides his real estate heritage as he was from a family of developers. In his own words, “real estate business is in my blood.” Filippo acquired his initial property practice and knowledge from working as a Civil Engineering Supervisor in Italy. Three years later, he relocated to the Czech Republic and launched his own property refurbishing/reselling company. Inspired by Dubai’s booming realty market in 2007, Filippo braved the city with zero networks yet with 100% determination. Eventually, he rose to the challenge and succeeded in establishing and maintaining a network of investors from Italy. Came 2008, Filippo faced another challenge – the great recession. With optimism, belief in Dubai and focus on unravelling his niche, Filippo surpassed the challenge and thrived on leasing/sales of properties in the city.
