Really central without the high-rise feel - low-rise villas and townhouses give a more residential, established neighborhood feel. Some internal roads/parking are tight, especially around older buildings
I visited Al Wasl some time ago and found the area pleasant. It has a nice atmosphere, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around.
The villas at Al Wasl Compound in Jumeirah 2 are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The villas are conveniently close to Box park, the Canal and Galleria Mall. In addition to the well-equipped villas, the compound offers access to communal facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness center.

Good maintenance and security in the building
Not up to the mark owing to the fact that they are the old apartments. But atleast something needs to be done about the noise around the place..a terrible community living indeed
Very nice building. Close to schools, beach, facilities.
My house is in a family friendly community in the middle of al wasl road, close to everything, spacious shared garden that is safe for kids. Swimming pool is protected security cameras are around the compound. The noise around the house is quite bad though
