A comfortable place to live with much larger apartment layouts than you'll find in newer areas. Motor City is incredibly walkable with great local shops and cafes. The main drawbacks are the heavy traffic on Hessa Street during rush hour and occasional noise from the Autodrome, but it's a solid choice overall.
