I've been living here for a 1 1/2 year and went to view a lot of houses before I saw this one. Any other house is either near to a Mosque (and noisy), near to way crosses and tram, got lot of other buildings shadows, having such distances to JBR/beach or other.... This one (Dorra Bay) is totally best I've seen so far in the Marina, by being located in the calmer endside and beautiful part of the Marina, nearly surrounded by water and got walk distance to JBR and Bluewaters. Staff is accommodating in all terms (and I've gone to them for anything), and a nonstop work is being done to keep a high standard in the house and meet the residence's and guest's satisfaction. FYI if doing short term rental, it's totally possible doing from distance with help from Security reception for check in- and check out, thanks to a webportal shared with the Reception staff and they store the key and card on your (owners) behalf.

the view is good but the problem is in the structure one year ago the basement slab is collapsed nd until now not yet ready have a big problem of parking in the basement

Positive: It has amazing views and easy access to the Marina and JBRreat views Negative: This building has serious issues with maintenance. The parking garage collapsed 1+ year ago and no one is taking responsibility for fixing it. The overall upkeep of the building is poor, and it's a shame to see such neglect in a property that could be so lovely with a little attention. Also AC is a problem. It is not correctly isolated and is hard to get temperature below 30 in summer (No chiller free)

The view on the channel on the Marina side has no comparison in terms of beauty. All the apartments are shaped in a rectangular way with the long side facing the channel (not easy to find elsewhere) and have very high ceilings. Some problems exist with A/C (in summer without closing the curtains the temperature is never below 25 degrees). Two big problems affecting the property are (1) the traffic - in peak time it takes sometimes 45 minutes to do 400 meters and pass the signal crossing JBR (2) structural problems affecting the basement - for about 1 year residents have not been able to park inside due to some major incidents happened

I lived in dorra bay for a few years. The location is EXCELLENT! just across the nicer side of the Beach Walk and the building is much nicer than any of the actual JBR buildings. The building also has one of the best gyms I’ve seen within a residential building. The only issue is one of the elevators occasionally goes out of device but it hasn’t happened in a long time. The new building management is great and very responsive to any maintenance needs.

Perfect location: jbr across the street, Marina walk downstairs, blue water 15 minutes walk, tram less than 10 minutes away, zoom supermarket in the building. Gym and pool above average compared to other towers and the management just finished renovation in the building. Only issue here is traffic going in during peak hours, but going out is easy. Also not easy for guests to park unfortunately. Overall good quality building in a great location.

Dubai Marina is one of the best communities in Dubai

Dubai Marina is generally a great community; however, commute-wise, it is extremely difficult. Going in and out of the Marina is not necessarily the easiest commute. Additionally, because of the tram, you will encounter a lot of traffic lights. Let alone the fact that it is known for being a tourist community, it gets extremely busy during the winter months, starting in November and lasting until February. If you understand the pros and cons of it.

Dubai Marina has both residential and commercial buildings and offices. Most of the popular companies are located in Dubai Marina. It has people from all around the world, you could experience different culture. Dubai Marina is good for relaxing around the water in cafes and restaurants. It is nearby to Marina mall, Nakheel mall, Palm Jumeriah, JLT, Blue water Island and JBR. Metro, tram and bus facilities are available. Not much parks for the kids to play but most of the residential buildings has swimming pool and play areas. Nice view of ships and cruise around. Views are amazing from the balconies of most of the buildings. Main tech hubs are situated here. People who wish to have peaceful, greenery place might not like this busy area.

Very lively and vibrant area! The Marina Walk/Promenade is the highlight of this community, with beautiful walking path along the marina harbour. This community has great restaurants across all cuisines. Weather gets windy during evening (non-summer months). Ample places for families to stroll, walk and enjoy. Lived here since a more than a year and absolutely loved it. Traffic can be a challenge during peak hours. Marina also offers great connectivity across tram, metro and bus. The community is very diverse with residents (and tourists) from all over the globe which adds to unique touch. Highlight recommended for young professionals and new families

Dubai Marina delivers on its promise of a vibrant, walkable lifestyle. The buzz of the neighbourhood is great - there's always energy, whether you're heading out for a morning coffee or an evening stroll. The Marina Walk is a genuine highlight, and the sheer variety of restaurants, cafés and shops on your doorstep is hard to beat. For anyone who wants convenience and a lively atmosphere, it genuinely delivers. The downsides are real though. Traffic can be seriously frustrating, particularly at peak hours, and the ongoing roadworks have added another layer of congestion that tests your patience. The neighbourhood can also tip into feeling overcrowded at weekends and during busier periods - which, depending on your mood, can make it feel less like a community and more like a tourist hotspot. Overall, a great place to live if you embrace the energy - just factor in the commute.
