I am sharing this not because of hatred, but I wish I knew about this before I moved in. So, I just want to let people know where they are getting into and jeopardizing their health and their kids’. The place may look pretty at first, but there are lots of maintenance problems. The main issue experienced was MOLD in the apartment and maintenance staff disregarded my complaints about it after I insisted many times to have my AC ducts checked. In one of the visits by the maintenance supervisor I showed a blouse I found inside my wardrobe full of mold in it. He literally laughed at my face and said that this was just dirty and still saying I did not have mold issues and he declined cleaning the AC for being a new bldg. Because I got extremely sick (I was coughing really bad for 2 months and a lot other symptoms), in desperation I hired a professional Mold Cleaning company because I could not be off work sick any longer. The walls outside the bathrooms moisture was measured and they were very damp at the bottom, where they said it was very likely that there is water leaking under the floor. I paid 4k for the mold cleaning in the apartment and AC unit and property management disregarded the report and did not refund me with the work that had been done. Of course after cleaning and they still did not take the mold report serious, which mold started to grow back. I moved out because of the health impact and the way the management dealt with the situation. “The damp walls will continue to be an issue and the problem will get worse”, words from the mold report.
