Dont recommande for families with the children. Very noisy, renovation in every second appartment: drilling, hammering. It’s a management who gave the permission and who doesn’t care about the rest of tenants. I have newborn baby and we have nowhere to hide or escape, paid a lot to rent appartment here what became a torturing trap.

I have been a tenant for 3 years and the experience I have had so far is terribly poor. Very poorly maintained building. Dirty everywhere....elevators, floors (with lots of waste stored in common areas), security/reception that has a phone that has not been working for 4 months even though the concern was raised both electronically and personally to the building management. What are you doing in case of an emergency? Who will help and respond? They have a ticket system for service requests and complaints but rarely they properly execute on those. Instead, you just get an email back reading "Your case was resolved" When? Where? Simply ridiculous. I strongly advise to avoid Rimal 1. Also, as reported by Shadi (see previous comments): noise has been a nightmare. Drilling all day long for 4 months. And, of course, all allowed.

Terrible experience. I rent in JBR Rimal 1 and am spending all my time hearing drilling and maintenance noise. Now it's been 4 months the drilling sound is not stopping, when I complain they reply that the flat which the noise is coming from has permission to do it. Now another flat start also the renovation and I have to live 3 months with the noise.

It is a great to live in Rimal sector, as it is in the middle of JBR the Walk. Kids can go to the playground, cycling, scooter etc...if you like the beach, this is your location.

Rima 1 is located in the centre of JBR, a quick stroll from THE BEACH sign, the real beach itself, movie cinema and literally hundreds of cafe, restaurants in JBR, The Beach development and on the other side Dubai Marina. It is in the thick of it in every sense of the word. This comes with a downside. Guest parking and traffic can be a challenge. One advantage of Rima 1 is that the car parking entrance/exit is actually on Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud St meaning getting in & out is easier than other JBR options. Surprisingly the higher apartments are very quiet considering the location. The building is now 15 years old and has seen better days. The maintenance is okay but most apartments need a refresh. Prices within the building particularly for the 1 & 2 beds are very affordable so the resident demographics are varied. Short term renters in the cooler months are also prevalent. Plaza level offers family friendly living with grass, retail stores etc though some of the stores in the immediate vicinity remain vacant. There is a Carrefour close to the Plaza level entrance which is handy.

Beautiful area of marina. Many nice outdoor cafes and restaurants. A very nice way to spend an afternoon. Worth stopping by a stroll or to catch a good meal.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) has one of the best vibes in Dubai, especially if you’re into that beach lifestyle. It’s right on the water, so you literally walk out of your building and you’re on a wide sandy beach with all kinds of activity around you. The Boardwalk is a highlight, stretching along the beach with cafés, restaurants, ice cream spots and casual hangouts. Everything feels lively and social, it works for quick coffee runs or nights out, and it’s clearly curated with thought, it doesn’t feel like it’s copying any other premium area. Parking is the biggest challenge, it’s almost always paid, and tickets are expensive. Traffic is heavy around the area almost all the time, which is something to be aware of. The restaurants and cafés are more premium, and a lot of tourists like to be here since it’s one of the hotspots, so it’s busy, especially in the cooler months. As a place to live, it’s energetic and fun, not quiet. You’ve got music, people walking by, deliveries, beach activity pretty much every day, so it’s more energy than calm. If you’re into the active beach lifestyle, café culture, and want somewhere scenic and lively, JBR really delivers. You do pay for it, but it’s worth it if that’s the lifestyle you want.

JBR has many tall buildings and has famous restaurants and recreational hubs. Its always crowded as its a central hub and easy to commute to most of the company offices located in the close vicinity. Highly recommend for the people who love luxurious surrounding with view of water and beach nearby. You get to many places with metro and even within walking distance. Kids get to play in the parks and walking areas. As the buildings are tall and nearby, some of the buildings does not get ample sunlight, some apartments has good view from the balcony. Most of the apartments are big and most liked by families. Busy area and getting parking is difficult.

Jumeirah Beach Residences is the prime of Dubai Marina - offering quick access to the Jumeirah beach, luxury restaurants and clubs. JBR offers amazing sea side views of Dubai Eye and Palm Jumeirah and hosts some of the tallest residential skyscrapers in Dubai. It is one of the most luxurious residential areas of Dubai as well one of the busiest areas of Dubai. Both tram and metro stations are nearby and the walk, restaurants and gyms are around the marina are also quickly accessible. However, with the huge amount of tourist footfall in the area everyday, it gets quite crowded and busy during the night. Due to this, the walking accessibility of the area gets compromised duriny the night.

JBR is a vibrant, lifestyle-driven community suited to both singles and families. It offers a lively atmosphere with plenty of dining options, easy access to JBR Beach and Bluewaters, and is ideal for evening walks along the waterfront. Its close proximity to key destinations like Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah further enhances its appeal for both expats and tourists.

I love the fact that it is located in the centre of JBR Walk. Its very close to where all the events at JBR take place. However, there is a bit of construction on the plaza level, which is almost complete now. They could have added more green space rather than build more retail area.

JBR is a great community, excellent choice if you are a family with kids however the quality of the maintenance/construction leave much to be desired. Constant cracks, leakage, broken elevators, floods. I do pay service charges on time but don't understand where my money goes.
