I recently stayed at the Royal Oceanic Tower and, while its central location is convenient, the building’s age really shows when it comes to noise. Thin walls and creaky floors mean you’ll hear every footstep and muffled conversation from neighboring rooms. To make matters worse, there’s a new annex under construction directly attached to the tower—constant drilling and hammering start early in the morning and continue throughout the day. If peace and quiet are a priority, I’d recommend looking elsewhere until the renovations are complete.

Unfortunately the building is very noisy, there is construction going on outside 24/7 and the traffic noise is still terrible unless you are above the 27th floor. The lifts are constantly broken, only one still works and people are so desperate to get on the service lift. The gym is a bit of a joke with only one treadmill working... The only good thing is the location, not recommended.

Royal Oceanic Tower is really an underrated Tower and I understood it while started living in it. Now will be 4 years and I do not wanna leave to any other tower as I had experience to live in other towers and I can confirm that it is one of the best towers. Easy access to SHZ and not much traffic except at night between 7-9pm but not every day. Maintenance is good and was renovated a lot of stuff in the Tower. A quite tower even tough there is construction going on but it has very good sound proof windows so no much noise coming in. Also when was heavy rain even 1 drop did not come in and parking area was cleaned the next day. Location is just perfect near to everything. Great facilities especially Pool with the cool water in summer which not every tower has. Amazing stuff and securities. Great place to live in.

This is an old building since 2008 but the maintenance is good . The building has 2 model apartments that are full sea view 01 and 06 models. The rest of the apartments especially the 2 bedrooms are small ones and surrounded with buildings and construction . One good thing is its proximity from the JBR walk and lots of supermarkets and hospital too . Good for Airbnb ( studios and one beds mainly ) .

Dubai Marina is one of the best communities in Dubai
- 2.02 out of 5 ratingAhmed O.
Dubai Marina is generally a great community; however, commute-wise, it is extremely difficult. Going in and out of the Marina is not necessarily the easiest commute. Additionally, because of the tram, you will encounter a lot of traffic lights. Let alone the fact that it is known for being a tourist community, it gets extremely busy during the winter months, starting in November and lasting until February. If you understand the pros and cons of it.

Dubai Marina has both residential and commercial buildings and offices. Most of the popular companies are located in Dubai Marina. It has people from all around the world, you could experience different culture. Dubai Marina is good for relaxing around the water in cafes and restaurants. It is nearby to Marina mall, Nakheel mall, Palm Jumeriah, JLT, Blue water Island and JBR. Metro, tram and bus facilities are available. Not much parks for the kids to play but most of the residential buildings has swimming pool and play areas. Nice view of ships and cruise around. Views are amazing from the balconies of most of the buildings. Main tech hubs are situated here. People who wish to have peaceful, greenery place might not like this busy area.

Very lively and vibrant area! The Marina Walk/Promenade is the highlight of this community, with beautiful walking path along the marina harbour. This community has great restaurants across all cuisines. Weather gets windy during evening (non-summer months). Ample places for families to stroll, walk and enjoy. Lived here since a more than a year and absolutely loved it. Traffic can be a challenge during peak hours. Marina also offers great connectivity across tram, metro and bus. The community is very diverse with residents (and tourists) from all over the globe which adds to unique touch. Highlight recommended for young professionals and new families

Dubai Marina delivers on its promise of a vibrant, walkable lifestyle. The buzz of the neighbourhood is great - there's always energy, whether you're heading out for a morning coffee or an evening stroll. The Marina Walk is a genuine highlight, and the sheer variety of restaurants, cafés and shops on your doorstep is hard to beat. For anyone who wants convenience and a lively atmosphere, it genuinely delivers. The downsides are real though. Traffic can be seriously frustrating, particularly at peak hours, and the ongoing roadworks have added another layer of congestion that tests your patience. The neighbourhood can also tip into feeling overcrowded at weekends and during busier periods - which, depending on your mood, can make it feel less like a community and more like a tourist hotspot. Overall, a great place to live if you embrace the energy - just factor in the commute.
