Great Building. Amazing gym
I've been living here for 2 years now. I love the building. High floors have a great view, with no noise at all. Gym is by far the best when it comes to gyms in buildings.
Old building - 24/7 noise!
Tired building with very noisy 24/7 construction site next door for the next 3 years. No pool access since fire and will remain closed. Great staff and but no guest parking.

I love my 1-bedroom unit, very good layout, especially for Dubai. Overall good staff. Biggest problem is the construction site next to the Torch (funny enough by the same developer Select Property) and with very noisy works ongoing 24/7 for the next 3 years, at which time the entire marina view will be blocked! In addition, the building has 0 guest parking! Since the fire, the pool has not re-opened, at Dubai speeds I still imagine that the exterior renovation works will continue for at least 1 more year and the pool access will remain closed. Good size gym.

Try to live High up
If you live in a down floor be ready to deal with the huge noise coming from the constructions sites that are very close to The Torch. Gym is good, mostly not crowded. No pool at this point and probably not before the end of 2016.

Excellent building, location, management, staff. Would benefit from kids play area/room and guest parking. Traffic lights take too long to change.
Good invironment
Very nice building however after the fire(February 2015) the pod is not working.Also there is contraction site next to it,which is very noisy 24/7
The Torch - perfect location
Torch is located at the beginning of Marina walk, It is a very communicative location, there are supermarkets restaurants, bars, beach at a walking distance. No traffic jam, a quick exit to Sheikh Zayed road, Dubai tram and metro. The building is well maintained. In 2015 there was a fire in the building and the swimming pool is still closed. The gym is perfect - spacious, clean and with a nice view. The common areas are luxurious, but finishing in the apartments are not of good quality.
