Apartments are spacious, with open kitchen, dishwasher and all appliances. The only problem I had were noisy neighbours, but that depends on the apartment you get. Being on the shadow part of the tower we didn't have to use AC at all, but we still had to pay bills for it. Overall I recommend Elite Residence if you want to stay in Marina.

If I turn it off for only a day it would take 3 to 4 days to get to 24 degrees again in summer. AC is not really working and still paying a fortune for AC bills. Airconditioning gets 1 star.

Elite Residence is by the far the best building to live in Dubai Marina, the location is perfect for the Marina, close to the beach, maintained to the highest level and has amazing facilities. The gym is the most equipped I've seen and the pool/lounging area (with artificial grass) is well kept and has many loungers available. You do get the occasional smell in the buliding (like most in Dubai) but I've never seen a cockroach in any of my apartments. This building would be the best choice you've ever made.

Read moreDuring my three years in a 20th floor 2-bed at Elite, I have loved the location (so close to the Marina walk, Carrefour, tram, Media City, Barasti/Westin), the spaciousness & nice design of the apartment, the pleasant staff, and the great gym & pools. The only not-so-great things I can think of are the slightly dated design of the kitchen and bathrooms, and also the tendency of drivers in the area to lean on their car horns for minutes (why??). The views aren't so great on the non-ocean view side of the building but a positive is that the apartment stays relatively cool in summer.

Read moreBuilding is in a great location, just outside the Marina to avoid the traffic and awesome proximity to Media City if thats where your job lies. The tram means that the traffic lights take 10 minutes a piece which is VERY annoying and constant construction means there is tap tap tapping all day long. But in terms of the building, finishes are good, security is extremely attentive and helpful and generally was a nice place to live for three years.
