The Wadi

The Wadi is a mixed-use community by Cosmo Developments on Yas Island, laid out along the Yas Canal on a plot of 144,703 square metres. A wadi is a valley cut by water over centuries, and the masterplan is built on that idea: paths that wind the way run-off does, a central green valley through the middle of the site, and planting drawn from the region rather than imported for effect, such as ghaf trees, date palms and mangroves. The walk through it ends at the marina, where the yachts sit and the view opens toward the Gulf.

Homes come with private balconies or terraces to the unit plan, fitted kitchen cabinets and countertops, fully tiled bathrooms and guest toilets with a shower in each, double glazed windows, central air conditioning, vanity units and mirrors, and private parking. Larger plans add a laundry and a maid's room.

Zayed International Airport and the Yas Marina Circuit are both five minutes away. Etihad Arena is seven, Ferrari World and Al Raha Beach nine, Masdar City ten, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque twelve, Khalifa City fourteen and downtown Abu Dhabi twenty-three. The sea is three kilometres from the community.
