The waterfront views are unbeatable, whether you’re looking at the skyline or stepping out onto the beach, and there’s a real sense of privacy and calm compared to busier districts. Running or cycling along the sea is amazing, and you get the most iconic view of Atlantis The Palm right as you do it. The location is convenient, close to Dubai Marina and the rest of the city, and road connectivity is smooth, though traffic can build up near the entry points during peak hours. Public transport isn’t ideal, so most residents rely on cars or taxis. The lifestyle here is very polished, with some of the most posh restaurants, beach clubs, gyms and cafés within the Palm’s reach. Everything comes at a price, rent is high, groceries and everyday costs feel premium, and while it’s scenic and calm, it can feel a bit isolated compared to the more lively areas of the city. Ultimately, Palm Jumeirah is a place you live if you only prefer premium living, the one percent. It’s perfect for luxury, views and that iconic waterfront lifestyle, but it’s not for hustle, buzz or affordability.

There’s a great mix of restaurants, cafes, and leisure options, all within easy reach. The area is well maintained, secure, and perfect for families as well as professionals. Whether it’s a morning walk along the waterfront or enjoying sunset views, Palm Jumeirah offers a unique lifestyle that’s hard to match. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality living in Dubai. 🌴

Living in Palm Jumeirah offers a unique island lifestyle, but it comes with significant trade-offs in connectivity, which ranks lowest due to the lack of direct Metro access and a reliance on the Monorail and private cars. While the community is moderately family-friendly with decent greenery and walking paths near Al Ittihad Park, the experience is often dampened by high noise and heavy traffic levels. It is a prestigious address for those prioritizing beach access and luxury, but day-to-day commuting and local congestion remain the biggest challenges for residents.

Balquis Residence is an amazing place to live! The modern apartments are spacious with stunning views, and the amenities—pool, gym, and gardens—are fantastic. The management is responsive, and the community is friendly and safe. It’s a perfect blend of luxury and comfort!

I lived in Balqis from 2020 to 2024. It used to be a wonderful community to be a part of, but sadly, things have changed for the worse. Before the Whydham Hotel came along, being a resident meant you could enjoy the pool, beach, and gym without any extra charges. However, since the hotel's arrival, tenants like myself are now required to pay additional fees to access these amenities. What's worse, the costs are higher compared to similar places nearby or even Privile membership. To make matters more frustrating, they've divided up the pool and beach areas, reserving certain sections exclusively for hotel guests and Privile members. As a result, tenants find themselves with limited access. Throughout my four years in Balqis, noise from ongoing construction work was an unwelcome constant. Whether it was renovations in apartments, villas, or the basement, it seemed like there was never a quiet day. On top of that, the elevators frequently malfunctioned, causing unnecessary inconvenience for residents. It's also worth noting the scarcity of guest parking spaces, which can pose challenges if you are expecting visitors. Despite these drawbacks, one shining aspect of Balqis is its staff. The security personnel, receptionists, and other members of the team consistently provided exceptional service. Their friendliness and helpfulness truly made a positive difference in the community. In conclusion, while I used to sing Balqis' praises, I can no longer in good conscience recommend it. The decline in resident amenities coupled with the ongoing disruptions have diminished its appeal significantly.
