What Residents say about Al Shera Tower

Jumeirah Lakes Towers has really good public transport, with both the metro and tram making getting around easy. In my opinion, it’s one of the best places to live if you want quick access to your workplace but still enjoy a real residential community vibe. The lake area is filled with restaurants, gyms and salons at different price points, so there’s something for every pocket. It offers both premium options and cozy, more affordable spots. It’s very walkable and pet-friendly, so you always get your steps in. Some buildings are a little old and the apartments show it, but newer ones are coming up. Most apartments are really spacious, and even though living here is expensive, it feels bang for your buck in my opinion. Overall, JLT balances city convenience with a true residential feel, making it practical and enjoyable for everyday living.

Living in JLT is perfect if you are looking for a wholesome living experience. You can expect a community vibe with a mix of nationalities, it’s also pet friendly and loads of tiny but incredible neighbourhood restaurants (a big perk if you’re a foodie). The park is well-maintained throughout the year, has a running track and outdoor gym, perfect if you want to get those steps in. There are also lots of gyms and padel courts around. DMCC usually sends newsletters for community activities so it’s worth keeping an eye out for those. Some exciting events include free outdoor movie nights, fun runs and festive pop-ups for Christmas and Ramadan. One thing to note however, is that in the event you miss the entry to a cluster, you have to drive all the way around, and make your way back. Also, if you’re picking a cluster, choose one that is closer to Sheikh Zayed Road, so you don’t have to drive around the circle to get out of the community. Overall, JLT has lots of perks, with easy access to the metro, Marina and Sheikh Zayed Road. There are lots of super markets around, the area is safe and very convenient.

Jumeirah Lake Towers is a great family friendly and vibrant area. I have been living in JLT Cluster X for about an year now and I completely love this area. The area is well connected to both Sheikh Zayed Road as well as metro, alongwith a lot of shopping marts for groceries and restaurants featuring different kinds of cuisines. The area also has a central park for kids and families as well as a huge walking/running track surrounding two artificial lakes. It offers the best of both worlds in my opinion - the coziness and solitude of a quiet family friendly area plus the comfort and convenience of living in one of the most vibrant residential areas of Dubai. However, since some of the towers are quite old, the building/apartment quality can be a hit or miss depending upon how the owner has maintained it. The common parking arrangement is not everyone's cup of tea as well. Apart from this, JLT is one of the best residential areas in Dubai.

I’ve been living in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers) for about 11 months now, and it’s honestly one of the most balanced communities in Dubai. What I enjoy the most is the atmosphere in the evenings — the lakeside walkways come alive with people running, families going for walks, and kids playing around the parks. It gives the area a really lively and safe neighborhood feel, which is sometimes hard to find in bigger cities. The running track around the lakes is great if you like evening runs or casual walks after work. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and small grocery stores in every cluster, so daily life is very convenient. You also have easy access to the Dubai Metro, which makes commuting much easier compared to many other areas in Dubai. Another thing I appreciate is the mix of people living here — young professionals, couples, and families — which gives JLT a nice community vibe rather than feeling overly touristy. Overall, if you’re looking for a place in Dubai that combines convenience, a good social atmosphere, and nice outdoor spaces, JLT is definitely a great option to live in

This is the best dog-friendly communities in Dubai. We love taking a stroll with our dogs in the evening. The walking path around the lake is pedestrian and dog friendly. For your furry friend's needs, it has not just one but TWO dog parks! The older one is located in Cluster H. The newer one is in Cluster V. This place is perfect for children too with a large number of playgrounds scattered across the area. For sports enthusiasts, it has a skate park, basketball courts and football fields.

Positives: Units are filled with natural light and are very spacious. Even in some villas and townhouses you don’t get this much space. Separate kitchen, maids room, and laundry room as well means you don’t feel cramped indoors. Negatives: - Far too many maintenance issues. Fire alarms at night, broken lifts, water issues meaning no water supply, burst water tanks, burst tap pipes … it’s too much. At this point, every fix is just patching up old and worn out infrastructure so will inevitably just get worse over time. - The gym is not well equipped at all and is also old and worn out. - No guest parking, but that is typical in JLT.

I’ve been renting an apartment in this building for a year and the experience is really very poor. They can literally cut off all water 2 times per week for “urgent maintenance” from 10pm to 6am next day. Imagine you came back home on Friday after long working day and there is no water in the building. Also the elevators 1 or 2 out of 5 are always not operating so, you wait for 3-5 minutes for the elevator to come and then it stops on every second floor you your way down. Think twice before moving in this building. Also you hear a lot of traffic from SZR and every single metro train that stops at DMCC station. Window cleaning was supposed to be more frequent but they clean windows 1 tine per year.

I've lived in a lot of different places and buildings across Dubai. Al Sheraa Tower is one of the best, if not the best, building to date.

The building it good, well maintained, with super friendly and well trained stuff. The location is perfect - 2 min away from the metro, with direct exit to SZR.
