Discovery Gardens station on the same line is a similar distance away, giving residents more metro stations to choose from, while The Gardens station is a short drive to the north. If you need other access points, Ibn Battuta and National Paints stations are both roughly nine to ten minutes away by car.

The Azizi Star Building, Al Furjan Murooj, and Shasta Azizi Tower stops are all within walking distance of residential blocks, and there are extra stops near Glamz Residence Tower 2 serving the northern edge. Life here is defined by its serene atmosphere: mornings and evenings are best spent walking through lush greenery accompanied by the sound of birds, all with minimal traffic to disturb the peace. For families, the abundance of parks and playgrounds provides a safe, vibrant space for children to play. Meanwhile, the Al Furjan Club serves as a dedicated hub for health and recreation, offering everything from padel courts to professional fitness lessons. In Al Furjan, you truly get the best of both worlds—metropolitan convenience paired with a quiet, village-like charm.

I’ve been living in Al Furjan for some time now. I think it’s a great place to live. The community feels quiet and well-planned which makes it perfect for families and people who like an area unlike the busy parts of Dubai. One of the things about Al Furjan is that it’s easy to get around if you have a Car. Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road are nearby so I can get to Dubai Marina, Jebel Ali or even Expo City easily. But if you do not own a car, then public transport is a but problematic in the inner areas. The bus F45 goes around, but the frequency is not great. The Discovery Gardens Metro Station is close by from many areas, but again, if you stay in the inner areas, it can be upwards 45 mins of walk. There is the Al Furjan Pavilion and Al Furjan West Pavilion which have everything I need like supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies and small restaurants. I also like that there are parks walking tracks and open spaces in Al Furjan so it’s easy to go for a walk or spend time outdoors. Overall I think Al Furjan is a great place to live because it’s peaceful. Personally, I’ve really enjoyed living in Al Furjan.

It has good connectivity with direct access to major highways and the Dubai Metro Route EXPO 2020 via Al Furjan Metro Station, making travel to places like Dubai Marina easy. Overall, it’s considered a comfortable and affordable area for families and investors, though some parts are still developing.

I love how calm Al Furjan is, yet it still has everything you need. The community mall, Furjan Pavilion, has a Spinneys and a couple of restaurants, pharmacies, and a tailor shop. Al Furjan Club next to the pavilion has a gym, swimming pool, and a tennis court, so you have everything in one place. The metro is a 5-minute walk from my building (Masakin Al Furjan), which makes commuting a breeze. There are also plenty of walking tracks, and the one leading to the pavilion is especially green. Driving is quite effortless since traffic isn't an issue here. Plus, apartments here are reasonably priced compared to other areas. The only downside is that Al Furjan needs more leisure options.

Renting an apartment here has been the worst experience of my life. The building was supposed to be brand new, but has many issues with plumbing. The amenities, like the kids’ play area and swimming pool, are also closed for the last 6months with no end in sight for its opening. To make matters worse, construction is happening on two nearby buildings and the roads are being repaired.

I have lived in Westwood by Imtiaz for around a year. During my time there, the building security and maintenance was amazing. The building sits in the middle of Discovery Gardens and The Gardens metro stations - both easily walkable. There is a convenience store nearby and the Discovery Pavilion complex is also nearby for any shopping. All rooms are smart home equipped and easy to setup. The furnishing quality of the building is top notch. I really enjoyed using the facilities like gym, swimming pool etc as well since they were properly maintained and cleaned regularly.

If you are looking for a standalone villa community close to the main roads this is the place. Not many people know that Al Furjan is huge, and some places you need to drive for kms before you hit the exit. This community is ideal if you need to be close to main exits.

Al Furjan is a vast area and Makeen Al Furjan community is right at the start of the Al Furjan west. Very close to the main road unlike some other communities that are located up the hill and takes a long time to enter or exit.

Yes. After years of discussions, multiple meetings with Nakheel, and a survey sent to owners, it has been officially announced that Al Furjan will be gated. This is to enhance security and improve the overall look and feel of the community. One part of Al Furjan is already gated with security posts in place, and the remaining areas are expected to be completed soon.

Currently, there is a clubhouse with a pool and gym available on a membership basis, with discounted rates for Al Furjan residents. In addition, Quortaj 4 now has a residents-only swimming pool exclusively for that cluster. We are in talks with Dubai holding to consider adding pools to the other clusters.
