By car, Ibn Battuta Mall is about five minutes away, Dubai Marina Mall around nine minutes, and The Beach at JBR roughly 15 minutes. Downtown Dubai is close to half an hour in normal traffic. Al Maktoum International Airport sits about thirty minutes down Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, and Dubai International Airport works out to around thirty-five minutes. The Abu Dhabi border is about forty minutes on Sheikh Zayed Road.
I go to Discovery Gardens few times a month at least. I like it for the food and the chill atmosphere. One thing I really like is that there are affordable restaurants. You can find Indian, Pakistani, Arabic and Asian food and most places are not too expensive. Since the parking was made paid, you can also easily find parking spots, and it is all very safe also. The area feels fun. Relaxed. There are small shops, grocery stores and restaurant everywhere. It’s also easy to get to because of the Gardens Metro Station, which I personally use. Depending on where you are going, the Discovery Gardens metro station might be a better choice. Overall Discovery Gardens is a place to visit if you want good food that won’t break the bank and a casual neighborhood feel.

I lived here for a few months and loved the greenery, colorful buildings, and direct access to metro stations; The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, and Al Furjan metro stations are all within walking distance depending on which cluster you're in. However, the main downside is that the area is a bit run down in some places. Maintenance and hygiene could be improved in some buildings, and there's no underground nor designated parking, which is inconvenient in the summer.

Discovery Gardens Pavilion
We were resident at Discovery gardens Dubai for almost 3-4years we rented 1bedroom from Wasl property the area land scape, building maintenance and facilities like pool, tennis court are great. No parking issues at all and children can play all day long outside area its really maintained n safe. After the addition of Metro service We are now looking for permanent residential property in Discovery gardens

Living in Discovery Gardens for more than 10 years is a very good experience. Far from busy city life. Very good place. Calm and relaxing. Very good for kids. A safe haven for families to relax and enjoy the chirping of birds and quiet night.

Living in discovery gardens for almost 6 years now and i'm still loving it. The Life in discovery is comfortable, offers access to many amenities including grocery stores, restaurants, gym, salon and metro.

Discovery Gardens spans 26 million square feet across six themed clusters: Zen, Mediterranean, Contemporary, Mesoamerican, Mogul, and Cactus. Across the community, Nakheel built around 300 low-rise buildings and more than 26,000 apartments. The stock is mostly studio, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments, with a small number of hotel apartments and a handful of whole-building sales for investors.
Apartments define Discovery Gardens. Every cluster centers around them, but the mix changes depending on where you look.
If you need more space, Contemporary Cluster has a strong supply of 2-bedroom apartments for rent in Discovery Gardens as well as several options for sale. Building 157, Building 153, and Building 158 offer layouts from roughly 1,300 to 1,600 sq ft. Other buildings continue that pattern, with studios in Building 178 starting near 444 sq ft.
Mediterranean Cluster leans more toward compact layouts. Building 49, Building 64, and Building 85 are typical examples, with studios from about 460 sq ft. Other buildings such as Building 90 and Building 51 add more studios and one-bedrooms, with one-bedrooms going up to 1,000 sq ft.
For family-sized two-beds, Cactus Cluster is one of the better fits.
