We’ve actually had quite a long history with The Greens. My husband and I first lived here about 10 years ago - in Al Thayyal 4 and later Travo B - and after a few years back home, when we returned to Dubai, there was no question… we chose The Greens again (now in Al Alka 1). There’s just something about this community that’s hard to find elsewhere. It genuinely feels like a neighbourhood. People are friendly, everyone says hello when you walk past, and it’s incredibly family, kid and pet friendly. One of the things we love most is how walkable everything is. Our son’s school is a 5-minute walk, and we have at least five different coffee spots within a few minutes from home. There’s also a really lovely outdoor book exchange library - you can take a book or leave one - and it’s actually well maintained. We often stop by on our walks just to see what’s there. The outdoor spaces are a big plus too - walking paths, exercise equipment, and just a really calm, green environment. You genuinely don’t hear traffic, which is rare in Dubai. Our son also does his swimming lessons in the community pool, which is really convenient, and our gym has just undergone an upgrade - it took a few months, but it’s now ready and a great addition. Our building has 24-hour security, which adds to the overall sense of comfort and safety. If I’m being honest, the apartments could do with a bit of TLC, and the allocated underground parking spaces are quite tight - but for us, the community more than makes up for it. Overall, we love living here. It’s one of those places that just feels easy and comfortable, and that’s why we came back.

Yes due to its great location, sense of community and size of units. We had seen 6-7% net long-term rental yields!
Question
Is there a lot of availability ?
Assess the availability of properties to buy or rent.

Sophie Lavers
The community is a catch 22 as those who buy/rent tend to stay, which is fantastic for the close-knit aspect, but it does make it challenging to enter the community as there is low availability.

Who buys in the Greens and Views ?
Learn about buyer demographics in the area.
