perfect for

Singles and young professionals

The DIFC neighbourhood offers all the elements found in the world’s most successful financial industry ecosystems. Dubai strikes a good balance between the time zones of Hong Kong and Tokyo in the east and New York and London in the west and is seen as an excellent hub for global corporations; most of them are located in the DIFC area and employ a lot of DIFC’s residents.

Employees in this part of town expect the best, so as well as offices DIFC houses some of the best places for fine dining in Dubai.

the lifestyle

DIFC is central and fashionable

The area offers high-end retailers, world-class restaurants and the best in international contemporary art and entertainment. There’s a reason why DIFC is often affectionately coined as the “Dubai International Food Court” – some of the titans of Dubai’s dining scene are located in the corridors and alleyways of DIFC and the majority of of them are located at Gate Village.

not so great for

calm seekers

DIFC is the definition of city-life. There are no beaches, very few many gardens, and it may be considered to be far by those living in ‘New Dubai’. Overall, DIFC is not considered a desirable residential community by those with families or people who don’t like highly populated areas.

the market

New retail developments in stages of completion

With the completion of the retail spine in the DIFC, as well as the Brookfield building nearly done, new retail and F&B businesses are expected to flourish in the area, making it more lively on weekends. DIFC once seemed like a dead zone on weekends but this is starting to gradually change.

The area benefits from close proximity to Downtown Dubai, which is sort of a demand feeder. Residents who work in the area can walk to their office if those are located either at the DIFC itself or even in Downtown Dubai.
